Who discovered the number

Who discovered the number - what is the number?

Number, at present, can be called the basis of human life.  From the great discoveries of science, numbers are also used in ordinary life.  Based on its definition, the number is a Mathematical Object which is used in counting, measuring and identification.  1, 2, 3… are called natural numbers.

Who discovered the number

Generally, we do not know when the number used every moment in our life started, when it is being used.  Most people do not even pay attention to it.  Today, in this article, we will tell when the number was started and who searched for the number.

Number history

The history of numbers is very old.  There is no concrete fact about it, but it can be said that the number did not start in the form of natural numbers currently in use.

Whatever the facts are, it is known and it is expected that the history of numbers is almost as old as human history.  That is, the number had also come only after the arrival of humans on earth.

However, the numbers at that time were not the same as in the current round.  At that time some special symbols are used as numbers, that is, symbols were used to represent the number.

The earliest use of insignia to express numbers is found by the Egyptians.  The people of Egypt first discovered and used the Ciphered Numeral System.

After this the Greeks used this method.  Greek used it with letters.  After this it reached among the Romans and they started using it with alphabets and some special characters.

The counting method continued to be used in Europe until the arrival of the Arabian number system.  The Arabian number system started in use in the 14th century and spread across the world, which is still in use till date.

The number was discovered in Mishra, although then signs are used to express the number. The earliest use of the number

The proof of the symbolic use of numbers dates back to around 40,000 years.  When some relics of that period were found, some of those relics were marked with special marks on bones and objects.  After extensive research, it was found that this mark was part of the number system at this time.  This can be said to be the beginning of the number which was Tally Marks.

Explain Tally Marks that this system was used for counting.  In this system then only large quantities of things were counted because there was no concept of decimal in it.

Decimals have been discovered much later.  Nevertheless, the same Tally Marks at that time is considered to be the first number system used.
