The year 2019 has proved to be quite special for smartphone technology. Samsung has named this latest camera sensor as ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, which is first used by Xiaomi in its phones. The sensor uses Tetracell technology and with pixel binning technology gives you an effective 27MP image output.
Samsung has claimed here that the large sensor size helps in capturing very good details even in extreme lighting conditions. 108MP is clearly a fairly large pixel resolution camera setup but it is not always necessary to have a megapixel and the output is also better.
Apart from this, this sensor also gives you the support of 6k video recording at 30fps, so it is going to be very good for the video creator.

1. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
The top model S20 Ultra has been launched in Samsung's latest flagship series Galaxy S20 Series. In this, the company has used the custom version of the 108MP camera sensor, in which 9-in-1 technology has been used instead of 8-in-1 tech.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra also features a 40MP periscope style zoom camera that supports 100x digital zoom. On the front, the phone has a 6.9-inch Quad HD + Dynamic AMOLED with 120HZ refresh rate and a large 5,000mAH battery.
2. Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
Both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones are the first Xiaomi smartphones introduced with the Snapdragon 865 chipset. In both phones, you get LPDDR5 RAM with punch hole display. The phone also has the latest features like wireless charging, dual-mode 5G, 90HZ refresh rate display.
Along with the 108MP primary camera, the Mi 10 Pro has a 20MP ultra-wide angle lens, 10x hybrid zoom camera and a 12MP 2x zoom camera for better portrait shorts.
The Mi 10 has a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera sensor instead of both zoom cameras. Xiaomi has clarified that this device will be introduced in the Indian market soon.
3. Motorola Edge +
On the Edge + you also get a Curve AMOLED display with Snapdragon 865 chipset, 90Hz refresh rate and a large 5,000mAh battery. For charging, the phone has options for wireless, reverse and fast charging.
4. Mi Mix Alpha 5G
After the announcement of the 108MP camera sensor, Xiaomi immediately made it clear that it would soon launch its first 108MP camera phone and launched it as Mi Mix Alpha, the latest model of the Mi Mix series in September. In this latest smartphone, you also get a 20-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with a 108MP primary camera sensor.
Apart from the camera in the phone, you get a 7.92-inch OLED display with 180% screen-to-body ratio, which is the maximum for now. Apart from this, 40W fast charging support with in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, 12GB RAM, storage up to 512GB has also been provided.
5. Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro
The second number comes in this list of Mi CC9 Pro smartphone, which is the first 108MP camera phone available in the market as the company introduced Mi Mix Alpha as a concept phone. In the phone, you have a 108MP primary camera with Samsung ISOCELL HMX sensor, 5MP telephoto lens, 12MP portrait lens, 20MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro lens Penta camera setup.
Apart from the camera, you also get features like Snapdragon 730G chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a large 5,260mAh battery, 30W fast charging support, MIUI 11 software.
