Who invented mobile

Friends, the whole world has assumed the form of a family today and the condition has reached such that any person can contact another man located in any part of the world in a moment.  All this is possible due to the invention of a device and that is 'mobile phone'.

From agricultural revolution, industrial revolution, this tool of information revolution has made a profound impact on human life.

But do you know that this mobile invented, which brings the whole world closer?  So let us tell you that it was first made by American engineer Martin Cooper on 3 April 1973.

This was the first mobile multinational telecommunications company 'Motorola'.  In 1970, he took charge as an engineer at the same company, trying to make wireless communication devices, which led to the invention of the world's first mobile phone.

Some features of the world's first mobile phone:-

The first mobile phone made by Martin Cooper weighed about 2 Kg! Once charged, the mobile could talk for 30 minutes but it took 10 hours to charge again! At that time its price was almost  2700 US Dollars (Rs. 2 Lakh). In 1973 it was called 0G (Zero Generation) Mobile Phone.

In the year 1983, 10 years after the invention of the first mobile phone, Motorola brought its name to the mobile market for the first time for the common people.

Motorola DynaTAC 8000X.  Once charged, it could talk for 30 minutes.  It could also save 30 mobile numbers and at that time its value was kept at 3995 US Dollars (₹ 295669).

When did the mobile phone arrive in India

The arrival of mobile phones in India occurred on July 31, 1995, 12 years after it became the world's first mobile (DynaTAC 8000X).  Means 23 years before today.  TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) was established in India on 20 February 1997 to expand telecom services.

The effort to introduce mobile service in India was started by the entrepreneur of India, Bhupendra Kumar Modi, from mid 1994.

His own company 'Modi Telstra' started mobile service for the first time in the country and the first mobile call was made from Kolkata to Delhi on this company's network (called Mobile Net).  This company later came to be known as 'Spice Mobiles'.

Currently how many mobile phone users are there in India and the world?

According to the data of the previous year (2018), there are currently about 1 billion 5 crore mobile phone users in India, out of which about 38 crore 69 lakh 34 thousand are smartphone users.

After 2014, the number of people using mobile in India has increased very fast.  By this year (2018), India has become the second most mobile user and production country in the world.

In 2014, 3 million mobile phones were made in India, which increased to 11 million in 2017.  Currently, China is the world's largest mobile usage and production country.

Facts of Mobile Phones:-

Friends, you must have bought the Nokia 1100 mobile at some time or the other, but do you know that it is the best selling mobile phone and electrical gadgets in the history so far.

It had sold more than 25 crore sets in the whole world and that too in just 5 years. The first mobile which was brought to the US market in the year 1983 was priced at $ 4000.  That means Rs 296440 today.

In 2012, the Apple company sold over 3,40,000 iPhones every day, meaning 4 iPhones were being sold every second!  And over 121.41 million a year.

In 2010, US researchers found that mobile phones have 18 times more germs than the flush handle of our home toilet and the mobile is 10 times more dirty than its seat.

One online  According to the survey company 'App Annie', people in India spend 3 hours every day on smartphones and the 5 most popular apps on the smartphone Whatsapp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Truecaller and SHAREit - are the world's first mobile calls.

It was 45 years ago (1973) by Martin Cooper, the inventor of the mobile phone himself, from New York City in the US to the headquarters of Bell Labs in New Jersey. About 90% to 95% of mobile phones in Japan are waterproof.

The main reason for this is the habit of Japanese people, especially women.  Japanese women are so attached to their mobiles that they keep their phone around them even while taking a shower.

Considering their same habits, every mobile manufacturing company in Japan has to produce waterproof mobile phones.

The world's first smartphone was jointly made by IBM and Bell South Cellular Company in 1995, 23 years ago.

It was named Simon - and was first demonstrated at the Wireless World Conference in the United States.  It was purely a touch screen phone, priced at $ 899 at the time.  Apart from this phone, you could email and fax.

It also had facilities for notes, calendars, contact books, etc. According to the uSwitch website, every year in the UK people drop about 1 lakh mobile toilets and 23,000 mobile phones into bath tubs!  Which is known as 'Nomophobia'.

In this disease, people have problems of leaving the phone at home while going out, restlessness if the phone is not around, fear of losing the phone, etc.  Around 2 billion people worldwide are suffering from this disease and phobia. In the entire world, 90% of the text messages sent by mobile are read within just 3 minutes.

What is the difference between Mobile and Wireless?

These two terms, mobile and wireless, are not alike in the same way.  The main difference is the system of functioning of these two, and the different advantages of both.

The feature of the mobile is that it can also work in home, office, city or anywhere outside the city, in a secluded place etc.  A system of working is available wherever you want.

We can use mobile from anywhere, whereas Wireless / Local LAN means connecting two different types of devices etc. without wires and working normally like connecting wires.  Is done.

Mobile means that you can take your work wherever you are, whether you are at home, sitting in an airplane, in a hotel, anywhere you want, you can take advantage of it by sitting there, whether you want to talk.

Or by connecting your mobile to a computer, opening a new file or folder, or exchanging some data or sending or viewing e-mail, through mobile you can take information with you around the world, see  You can use them wherever you want.

Whereas wireless means that your devices (Computer, Keyboard, Mouse, Printer etc.) are connected wirelessly to a particular system such as wireless lanes, GPRS, Bluetooth technology, WiFi.  e.t.c.  They work by connecting modern instruments without wire.

Who invented mobile phone:-

Humans have accomplished another invention with the help of one invention.  This has happened in the invention of the mobile phone as well, some inventions made before the mobile phone such as telegraph, radio frequency, telephone became a great help for the invention of the mobile phone.

We know that earlier telephones were connected with wires, we could not carry this telephone everywhere. The idea of finishing this thing and making portable mobile phones came in the mind of scientist.  Can also talk by calling.

Another reason behind making mobile phones was that to make telephone calls, one had to be connected to the public switched telephone network first.  We could talk only after getting the free line.  In this process, the operators sitting in the PSTN used to connect the calls of 2 people.

All this waiting is finished by wireless mobilephone.  But making wireless communication was not so easy.  Channels or lines were not as much to connect the call as there were people to call. Therefore, one always had to wait to connect the call.

Mobile Phone History:-

In 1918, the German Railroad Systems tried a wireless telephone system in the military train between Berlin (Zossen).

During the Second World War, the military started using radio phones resembling the Valki Talkies for communication. This was followed by the invention of the Valki Talkies and also helped in the invention of the telephone.

Efforts were on to make wireless mobile phones from 1940, but due to the lack of technology, it took a long time to make mobile phones.

Automobile phones were made before mobile phones, which used to be used only in 4-wheeled vehicles, because this mobile phone required a lot of power to run.

The battery of this phone was used in the car trunk. For making calls from the mobile phone, we had to stop on the line for half an hour because there were very few lines to call at that time.

 Bell labs:

Bell labs have a big contribution behind the technology of modern mobile phones.  Bell Labs was verified by Alexander Graham Bell. The lab was later bought by the AT&T company and started working on radio phones in automobiles i.e. 4-wheeled vehicles.

Mobile telephone service was started in 1949.  At that time, if you had to call someone, first you had to tell an operator, this operator used to connect your call when the line was free.  Sometimes the call had to wait for 30 minutes to connect.

The scientists at Bell Labs invented the easy to connect mobile phones after inventing cellular network technology. These cellular networks used to be in a hexagonal shape rather than in circles and squares.  Being in a hexagonal shape, there was no problem in connecting the network.

The cellular network divides a space into the shape of several hexagonal cells.  There is a tower in one of these hexagonal cells that you can call. But when the call was disconnected after going from one tower to another.

Another invention from Bell Labs, "Handoff", also eliminated this problem.  After the "call hand off" technology, when the car moves from one tower to another, the network gets connected easily.

At that time, almost all the scientists were lying behind how to make the mobile phone easy in 4 wheeled vehicles. The phone which looked like walkie talkie was very troublesome.  There was also no number dialing system.

Invention of Modern Telephone:-

At that time, AT&T was leading in every way with regard to mobile phones and communication systems. The Motorola company also started trying to make wireless mobiles at that time.

At that time, to compete with AT&T, a phone had to be prepared which a man could take anywhere and could dial and talk to anyone.

Martin Cooper, who was working in the Motorola company at the time.  He thought that a portable phone should be made which a man could carry and talk anywhere.

Martin Cooper made a 1.1 Kg portable mobile phone for the first time in 1973 after many years of efforts.  With which you can talk by dialing.

After making this phone, Martin Cooper offered his rival Dr. Joel C., engineer of Bell Labs.  Calling the landline of Dr. Joel S. Engel said that "May be calling from a cell phone, which is a portable cell phone".

Wireless mobiles began to change rapidly after inventions such as metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) and large-scale integration (LSI), Information theory, Cellular networking.

Generations networks like 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G will start coming in. Now 5G is also coming. In this way we are using mobile phones today due to the hard work of many people and many small inventions.

Nowadays mobile phones have become common everywhere, whether rich or poor phones have become the need of all.  It would not be wrong to say that these mobile phones have become a part of our body.
