India and China stand face to face with the LAC in Ladakh.  In such a situation, citing security, the Indian government has decided to ban 59 Chinese apps.  Following the government order, Google Play Store and Apple Store are not available to download the banned apps, but the smartphone users who have already downloaded this app are able to run it.

What is the government's order?

If you try to understand the government's order, it means that the users who have the app downloaded in their phone will continue to run it, but will not be present to download the banned app on Google Play Store and Apple Store.  That is, no one in India will be able to download this app now and those who already have this app will not be able to update it.

In such a situation, if the government has to ban these apps completely, then they will have to talk to Internet service providers.  When the government decided to ban porn websites, it was also banned through Internet service providers.

In such a situation, it is now expected that the government will soon issue notifications regarding this to Internet service providers as well.

Among all these apps, the most popular is the Tik Tok which has millions of users in India.

At the same time, the e-commerce platform Club Factory stated in its official statement that Club Factory strictly abides by all regional rules and regulations and maintains high standards in terms of user data and privacy.  We do not compromise on the safety and privacy of users.

After the government ordered 59 Chinese apps to be discontinued, Google and Apple have started the process of removing the app from their stores.  Tik Tok has been removed from the Google Playstore and App Store.

Why did the government ban these apps?

The government has argued that behind the banning of 59 Chinese apps, the Chinese company can hack data through these apps.  According to an order issued by the government, these apps are a threat to India's sovereignty and integrity, India's defense, state security and public order

The government has banned these Chinese apps under section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
